Fix One license mismatch error

Issue

I received a message that my license key does not match my URL while using the Image Optimization tool on an Elementor One plan.

Cause

This error specifically affects the connection between your website and the Image Optimization tool included with Elementor One plans. It occurs when the site’s URL changes, causing a disconnect in the optimization service. This generally happens when:

• You move from a staging site to production.

• You switch from an HTTP to an HTTPS address.

• You change your primary domain.

Solution

If you change URLs, an error message will appear on your Image Optimization dashboard. 

To fix the mismatch error:

1. Click Fix mismatch error.
   

   

   
   You have two choices.
   

   

2. If you are moving from a staging site to production or changing from HTTP to HTTPs, click Update connected URL. This will preserve your Image Optimization history.
   

   

3. If you are moving to a new URL, click Connect as a new site. This will delete your Image Optimization history.
   Your Image Optimization subscription is reconnected.
