Web creators build sites in many languages. Each uses different writing directions. Elementor uses logical properties in its design options to adjust your layouts automatically based on the text direction.
How Logical Properties Work
Instead of fixed physical directions, logical properties use relative terms. They replace left, right, top, and bottom. This ensures your design adapts instantly if you translate your site into a Right-To-Left (RTL) language like Arabic or Hebrew.
Start: Refers to the beginning of the text flow. In Left-To-Right (LTR) languages, this is the left side. In RTL languages, this is the right side.
End: Refers to the conclusion of the text flow. In LTR languages, this is the right side. In RTL languages, this is the left side.
When you set spacing, alignment, or padding using “start” and “end”, your layout remains consistent across different translations.
