Issue
When editing a section, the right and left margins under the Advanced Tab are not editable and are set to auto.
Possible cause & solution
The option to edit margin is not available on Sections. But it is available on Containers.
Note
Containers are the default layout element of all new Elementor sites. However, you may have an existing site that uses sections. These sections can be converted to containers by using the Convert to Container option. For details, see Switching From Sections To Containers » Help.
In Elementor, a section is always a complete row. If you want to restrict the content inside the section, do the following:
- Go to Section > Layout.
- Adjust the Content Width.
