When you purchase a domain name ICANN regulations require that you provide personal information such as your name, address, phone number and email address. Exposing this information to the public can leave you vulnerable to scammers and phishing emails. By default, when you purchase a domain from Elementor, this information is proxied. However, you can disable this privacy protection.
Note: Even with privacy turned on, public information is not hidden. This includes:
- Nameservers
- Registrar
- Creation and expiry dates
To disable or disable privacy protection:
Access you DNS records
To access your DNS records:
- Go to your My Elementor dashboard.
- In the top bar, click Domains.

A list of your domains appears.

- Click the domain name associated with the DNS records you want to access.
The Domain overview screen appears.
Toggle Privacy protection off to make your information public.

Note: To enable privacy protection, toggle Privacy protection on.
