Hi All. I’m Ziv, a web designer and Elementor Lead Educator. Welcome to your Elementor Cloud Website. In this video i’ll show you some Elementor basics for you to get started in the editor and access important site management tools in the MyElementor dashboard so you’ll know how to navigate your pro website and build it with confidence let’s dive in and start in the editor.
This is where you create and edit your website it consists of several areas on the right is the live preview of your page your website comes with a header and a footer which you can customize to fit your design in between is where you add the content to get some inspiration and kickstart your website project you can click the library icon to access over 300 professionally built basic and pro template kits simply click to insert and adjust it to suit your needs.
You can also build your page from scratch.
That’s where the panel on the left comes into play use it to drag and drop elements to the page just like this heading widget.
Then access the content style and advanced tabs to make edits.
Elementor is a live drag and drop editor so you’ll be able to see your changes in real time
pay attention that widgets always appear in a column and columns always appear in a section.
You can add multiple columns to a section.
Access column settings by clicking on its handle.
And use the layout style and advanced tabs to make edits such as adjusting the column width.
You can also do this manually by dragging it to where you like.
You can even drag between columns.
Editing the section is done the same way simply click its handle to make adjustments such as giving it a background color,
or adjusting its height.
Click the widgets icon in the top right corner to see them again besides for the many basic widgets you can use to create great designs such as buttons icons and images
your elementor pro site also gives you access to more than 50 tailor-made pro widgets for you to create stunning call-to-actions price lists forms and a lot more they really help speed up your site creation process so you can stay focused on what’s important to add a new section simply click the plus icon and choose the structure then add your widgets and use the settings to create your pixel perfect designs to preview the final result you can either hide the panel like so
or click the preview changes icon at the bottom of the panel it’ll open the page in a new tab this area is also where you have access to page settings the navigator your actions and revisions history the responsive modes and the update or publish button
click the hamburger menu at the top left of the panel here you have access to site settings where you can do things such as setting up your design system and changing the site identity
back in the menu your elementor pro website also has access to the powerful theme builder where you can view and manage all of your site’s global parts such as the header and footer we have dedicated tutorials covering all of these in detail so be sure to check them out open the finder to perform quick actions such as adding a new page
to see all of your pages and access additional settings type dashboard and click to open your site’s wordpress dashboard this is the back end more technical part of your site where for example you can create and edit your site menus manage your plugins add new users and access your pages
simply click to edit them with elementor now last but not least back in the main dashboard
click my elementor in the top right corner it will open your elementor dashboard
this is your account home where you can manage your Elementor pro website billing details and account profile
you can also request premium support and easily navigate to the elementor experts network let’s check out some important site management tools for your pro website here you can manage your domains and add a custom one sitelock by default blocks visitors from viewing your website by requiring them to enter a pin code this enables you to work freely without the pressure of someone looking at your site
your website is backed up automatically every 24 hours and you can export your site or restore it to any backup in the list below
and lastly to edit your website again click here and choose the page you’d like to work on
