Judging criteria: the path to the winner’s circle 

Our judging panel follows a strict, multi-layered evaluation process. To be considered for Site of the Month, your site must excel in three critical areas:

1. Pre-requisites 

To qualify for evaluation, a site must meet these baseline requirements:

  • Platform: Built using an Editor Pro or One subscription.
  • Partnership: The submitter must be an active Partner or a Partner Applicant.
  • Transparency: The site must be your own or a client site we can publicly link to.
  • Exclusivity: The website must not credit or refer to competing platforms or experts.

2. Technical performance  

We prioritize mobile-first performance as the true test of craftsmanship. Your site must achieve a stable 90+ score across ALL Lighthouse categories to reach “Green” status:

  • Performance: Focused exclusively on Mobile.
  • Accessibility: Must be 90+.
  • Best practices: Must be 90+.
  • SEO: Must be 90+.

Note: A site is only eligible if the overall report is green AND every individual sub-category meets the 90+ threshold.

3. UX, Design & Content

Beyond the technical performance, we evaluate the “impactfulness” of your build:

  • Hierarchy logic: Is the user journey intuitive, well structured, and supported by clear Calls to Action (CTA)?
  • Clarity of content: Is the message immediate, sharp, and impactful?
  • Readability: Does the site utilize high contrast and accessible typography?
  • Complexity and detail: We look for the “wow” factors: pixel-perfect alignment, consistent spacing, and thoughtful micro-interactions.
  • Responsiveness: We test your site across various screen sizes to ensure the experience is just as impactful.
