Via Username

By adding the Twitter ‘Via username’, you can make sure that your business or personal profile will get properly tagged and the tweet will reach your audience and followers on Twitter.

3 Button Skins, 3 Views and More

The Click to Tweet button comes with 3 skins: Classic, Bubble and Link. It also comes with 3 views: Icon & Text, Icon or Text.

You can also change the call to action text for the button, as well as add an optional ‘Via’ username that will add a reference for the Twitter username to the end of the shared tweet.

Style & Design Options

Besides the typography, color and spacing settings for the content, author and button elements of the Blockquote, you also have several styling options for each of the skins.

The Border skin includes hover style options, as well as color, width, gap and vertical padding. The Quote skin includes color, size and gap settings. The Boxed skin includes padding, hover, background color, border, border radius and box shadow options.

  1. Hey, folks. As a Pro User I’d like to know if you are planning to release a Twitter timeline plug in. It’d would be a great way to put a interactive “news section” on a website. Greetings from a Brazilian writer!

      1. I’ve encountered the same problem. Do I have to split a section every time I want to drop in a block quote? How did you resolve this?

  2. You Guys and Girls (any girl???) are fantastic. Keep forward. After lot of page builder and other solutions I find Elementor. I don’t go anywhere. You are fantastic.

  3. Congratulations! You are amazing! But, I wonder, if they are already thinking about creating something for Instagran too! Several customers ask me this possibility.

  4. Considering this Quotebox widget is now focused on Twitter sharing, what if there was a character counter added in so we could optimize the quote for 140 chars or less?

  5. Wow, you implemented a lot of great new features over the past few weeks … and the actual one is also fantastic! Thank you! What comes next? How about some new templates to show all the new stuff? This would be great ?

  6. Hi Ben. A convert from Divi here. You guys are killing it. You are ‘the innovators’ in this space. Great job. Because you are so ahead-of-the-game I just thought I’d post up a suggestion. Would you look at including the two main Chinese Social platforms – WeChat and Weibo – as social share options? The reason I suggest this is that there are tens of millions of Chinese ex-pats around the globe who still use these platforms. WeChat figures suggest that there are more than 70+ million outside of China that use them and Weibo cite their figures (more than 300 mil monthly users) as ‘global’ audience numbers. Just thought it could be another differentiator to Elementor from others. Cheers!

  7. Hi Ben!

This new Widget is great too, without a doubt! I find it super useful. Congratulations on your constant improvement.

I have feedback from some of my readers about some features they miss on some other widget. I do not know if I could comment you to have it in mind in some future update or I do not know if you are interested in knowing their opinions.

    A hug

  8. I love Elementor so much!! Every update is amazing and I just had to get pro! Next thing you guys need to release: photo gallery/carousel with individual custom urls for each image.

  9. I would love to be able to use this on a Posts template page, but the only way to do that is if you allowed dynamic entry for the text. That way I could set up a custom field for “block quote” and it would then populate that space. A lot of your widgets have this ability, but your Block Quote doesn’t yet.

  10. I have got a problem with this feature. I would like to use in my blog ( the estructure is one section with two columns, one for the post, and the other for the widgets. I can not use it in the columna of the post ( it only allow me put it in the begining or in the end, not in the middle for instante).
    How can I fix it?
