However, generating these excerpts can be a tedious task, the type of tedious task AI is perfect for.
Add excerpts using AI
Adding excerpts to posts and pages is done using WP Admin.
To add an excerpt to a post or page:
- From WP Admin, navigate to either Pages or Posts.
A list of Pages or Posts appears.
- Click the page or post you want to add an excerpt to.
- In the right panel, make sure you are accessing the Post or Page information.
- Scroll down to the Excerpt field.
You may have to click to open the Excerpt field.
- Click Generate with Elementor AI.
If you have not already registered for Elementor AI, you’ll need to approve the AI terms and conditions. - AI will generate an excerpt based on the page or post text. You can:
- Click Use text to add the text to the Excerpt field.
- Choose one of the editing options to adjust the text. Once you have a suitable text, click Use text. For details about creating text, see Write text using Elementor AI.
The text is added to the Excerpt field.
