Organizing Content Best Practices

As we are all here to learn about Elementor and grow as web creators, oftentimes, the amount of information in a group can make it hard to find certain posts or topics.

Curating content tools

There are some tools and solutions that help us curate the content that will make it much more accessible to members:

  • Units may soon be an integral part of how we handle content in the group. For now, it’s still under consideration.
  • FAQ – there are many questions that are frequently asked by new members. To make sure we are providing the most common and necessary information, we gathered an FAQ we are sharing with new members.
  • Common hashtags and topics.
  • Keywords alert – by using specific keywords, you will be able to catalog the post yourself, if you perceive it as valuable information for members.

How do we assure members are aware of all resources?

Getting users to search, read, and/or add topics and hashtags is the greater challenge, especially for beginners, but even for long time members.

  • Welcome announcement as a pinned post
  • New members welcome post – a bi-weekly post by admin and/or moderator (we take turns), that helps new members feel welcome but also provides a reminder of our group’s culture, resources and other initiatives (a poll we just posted, a webinar that is coming up…) we want to share that week. See a suggested text:

“Greetings to all of our newly joined Elementors.

We encourage you to introduce yourselves and share a project you are working on. The Elementor community is a great source of inspiration and support.
Make sure you take a look at our
units & faq, don’t forget to search the group and, if you are still looking for an answer, reach out to your fellow Elementor members and post.

So, what are you working on today? “

  • Commenting and advising to X – If you see a recurring post or a question that can be easily answered by using the units or search bar, add a comment and refer the user to the search. By doing it publicly we are singling what is the “best practice” for other members, as well.
  • Useful links you can use for pre-canned responses
