Last Update: February 2, 2024

In order to use a custom domain on your Elementor hosted website, you must purchase and register a name with a domain registrar.

We recommend purchasing and connecting your domain name through Elementor. For more details, see Purchase a custom domain name for your site.

Purchasing and registering your domain name through a third party

In order to use a custom domain on your Elementor hosted website, you must have a name registered with a third party. Elementor does not offer registration services at this time. You may purchase and register your domain from a registrar. Commonly used registrars are:

  • Godaddy
  • Namecheap
  • Google Domains
  • Domain.com

Connecting your custom domain

Once you have purchased your domain, and registered it you may add it to your Elementor hosted website as a Custom Domain*. In order to connect your domain to your Elementor hosted website, you will first need to make some changes to your domain’s DNS (Domain Name System) records. This document will walk you through the steps.

Note: You will need to wait for your registrar to send you an email stating that the domain is ready before connecting your custom domain.
