As part of Elementor’s ongoing effort to make site management safer and easier, Elementor Manage now integrates Patchstack Vulnerability Detection; bringing the same trusted security technology from Elementor Hosting directly into the Manage dashboard.
What is Patchstack Vulnerability Detection?
Patchstack is a leading open-source vulnerability research organization that tracks and reports security issues across WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla ecosystems. By integrating Patchstack’s intelligence into Elementor Manage, we provide users with real-time visibility into plugin vulnerabilities without requiring additional tools or setup.
How it works
The Patchstack integration is built directly into the Plugin Management view of Elementor Manage, both for individual sites and for managing multiple sites at scale.
Single Site View
- From My Elementor > Managed, click on the website you want to view.
- In the left-hand panel, go to WP Management. Here you will see:
- How many plugins are installed
- Which plugins require updates
- How many known vulnerabilities are detected
A dedicated column shows the number and severity (high, medium, low or no issue) of issues per plugin.
- In the All Plugins window, under “Security status”, click on Issues found.
- A detailed modal appears with the vulnerability title, description, and a “Learn More” link to Patchstack for deeper technical guidance.
- Click Secure my Plugins and you’ll be taken to Patchstack’s site
- Bulk Site Management
- Aggregated vulnerability data across all connected sites.
- Indicators highlight whether a plugin has vulnerabilities on any connected site.
- Hovering reveals more details without drilling into site-specific data.
- As with single-site, issues are shown with severity ratings, and full details are available on click
- Aggregated vulnerability data across all connected sites.
Why it matters
Security isn’t just about fixing issues after they occur, it’s about early awareness and proactive management. With Patchstack built into Elementor Manage, you can:
- Detect vulnerabilities early, before they are exploited.
- Prioritize fixes based on severity.
- Keep track of vulnerable plugins across multiple sites from a single dashboard.
