customise your archive page in this
video you’ll learn how to work on an
archive page with content drawn from ACF
advanced custom fields
this lets you dynamically insert data
directly into your archive page giving
you full control over your design with
Elementor without using any code so head
over to our archive page which has a
premade design set up here in the hero
section we want to put a background
image of the country down here is a did
you know area that will make dynamic
further down you can also set up this
quote section to be dynamic as well and
finally we have the country’s map that
will also be updated according to the
country to enter our country details go
to the dashboard then under posts
categories choose the country you want
to edit for example Japan and click Edit
here I already entered the default
category fields and in this area here
you’ll see the ACF fields I added so
first off I’ll add Japan’s background
image then go ahead and fill in the Digi
no fields add an interesting fact in
each one of them fill in a quote related
to Japan in the map field enter the name
of the country Japan now that we’ve
added all our content click update on
your keyboard press command + e to open
the finder and return to the travel
archive template now we’ll connect our
fields to get the data we defined
earlier let’s start with the background
image click on the section go to style
background choose dynamic and then
select an ACF image field click again
and set the key to background image
looks good
let’s move on to the did you knows here
I’ll link the appropriate fact to each
one
first click dynamic and set it to a CF
field click again and under key choose
did you know one for the second one
I’ll set the key – did you know – and
lastly did you know three good job now
let’s scroll down to our quote under the
archive post let’s make it dynamic click
on the text then dynamic choose a CF
field and click again to choose your
quote for the final touch go to the map
go on you know what to do next –
location click dynamic and select a CF
field then set the key to map magic
that’s it now check it out
