Create a Promotion Box for Your WordPress Blog

hi everyone this is Danny a designer at
elemental today let’s talk about a new
trend that we can find more and more in
all types of media all over the web most
likely you’ve come across this before
such as email subscription form for
newsletters ebook downloads product
promotion or even discount displays it’s
called a promo box let me show you how
to create one with element of single
post template the whole point is to
create it only once and then it will
appear all over your posts ok let’s do
it go to elemento my templates and
choose single just click add new if you
don’t already have a template
example I will use a pretty signed
template to create my promo box so let’s
scroll down just below the article and
above comments that’s usually the best
place to add a primer box because people
will notice it there let’s open a new
section and then let’s prepare it
we can add some padding
prepare the background let’s go with
this dark blue when it’s done let’s find
a catchy airline make it a bit bigger so
it’s visible for everyone of course we
also have to add a tagline now let’s add
a form we just need the email for this
example let’s focus on the form here we
can curve the edges by adding some
regions let’s put some margins here to
spice it up let’s add an image as
background for that we’ll use the
background overlay
we can reduce the opacity a bit now
click update or publish in the
conditions choose all post and click
publish now go back to your website and
check your posts scroll down and see
yourself your design appears in all your
posts now that you know how to do it
update your blog create your own design
you can’t even imagine
