Using Elementor, you can easily add an author box to your blog posts, showing bio and links of the post’s author. In this video, we show how to add an author box to any blog post dynamically in WordPress, using Elementor’s Theme Builder.

in this video I’ll go over the author
box widget each post in WordPress is
attributed to a specific author by using
the author box widget you’ll be able to
tap into this dynamic information and
display the author of each post so let’s
go over all the options available in the
widget from the panel drag an author box
into the editing screen in content under
author info source you can choose
between current author or custom author
if you work with the current author it
takes the WordPress users dynamic info
to display the post author this is
especially suitable for those using
single post templates go with custom to
work with static info for example it’s
great for displaying an author on a
landing page where you don’t need
dynamic content but you’d rather just
display an author so let’s go over
custom if you’re using dynamic just jump
ahead a few seconds first upload a
profile picture over here name n HTML
tag h1 to 6 or set it as div or span in
the link to field you can add a URL to
link it in the biography box add a short
bio in the archive button add a link to
the author posts or any other link you
like this will add a button under the
bio text and remember if you’re using
current all your links are dynamic and
set the layout and alignment of your
items in the box now let’s go over the
style settings the vertical align aligns
your author image to the top or to the
middle you can adjust the size of the
image and the gap between the image in
the text you can add a border and
customize it and you
that’s an extra style with box-shadow
under text this is where you can edit
the style for your name in bio choose a
font its color all that good stuff you
can also set the gap between the name
and bio and between the bio and the
button as mentioned this button can lead
your visitors back to your main blog
page engaging them with your content and
here you have all the familiar Elementor
customization tools design your text
background color and typography for
normal and hover and for the final touch
tweak your border width and give it a
border radius and add some padding to
the button author box adds a stylish
portrait of your author giving your page
