We are proud to share with you the 4thMeetup Leaders meeting. This time we discussed some important updates:
- New branding for meetups
- Q3 Meetup Survey was released
- Gathering Feature Requests from meetup members
- New Terms and Conditions
The virtual meetups changed the way members interact during meetups, and we are looking for ways to increase personal online interactions. During this meeting we tested a cool tool, the icebreaker app, that was built to increase personal interaction between members during virtual gatherings.
Main Takeaways from the Meeting
Icebreaker is a guided conversation game (8 minutes), 1 on 1 networking and interaction, from fun staff to Self Care: Check-In.
Important Things to Know:
- It’s free for up to 40 attendees.
- Only English for now.
- Google account sign in required.
- Parring members options are limited.
- There is a main space with chat and video.
- You can choose what type of “game” you want to play.
- It is suitable for attendees that are feeling comfortable to share and network online.
- Works best with Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
Leaders who participated, “it was fun and interesting”. Need to see if it fits most local members.
