<\/li>\n\n\n\n- Choose which parts of your site you want to export. Make sure to click Save changes <\/strong>after changing any of the options:\n
\n- Content<\/strong>: Export pages, posts, custom post types, menus, taxonomies, and media format. Note that if you choose Save media to cloud (Advanced plan and up)<\/em> <\/em><\/strong>you can\u2019t save the file as a zip; only to the cloud Library. You can include everything or select individual pages or content groups. (Granular options are Expert plan and above<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Templates: <\/strong>Save site parts such as headers, footers, Theme Builder templates, and Global Widgets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Settings & Configurations<\/strong>: Global fonts, global colors, theme style, layout, lightbox, background settings, and active experiments.
Export custom files such as custom fonts, icons, and custom code (Pro and above<\/em>).
Export the Theme: You can export public WordPress themes. (Pro and above<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n- Plugins: <\/strong>Select which plugins to export. Note that all plugins are required for website templates to export successfully.

\n- Export as zip: <\/strong>Download your website template as a zip file. You can then upload this zip file to your new site.
Note: If you selected <\/em>Save media to cloud <\/em><\/strong>under <\/em>Content<\/em><\/strong>, you won\u2019t be able to export as a zip.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n- Save to library: <\/strong>Save the website template to your virtual library. You can then import the site from the cloud.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Import a site<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
To import an exported Elementor site:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n[callout type=”important”]We recommend backing up your site before importing a file.[\/callout]<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n- Go to WP Admin and navigate to Elementor>Editor>Home<\/strong>.
