Monitoring how visitors are using your accessibility tools gives you a better picture of who\u2019s using your site and what their needs are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activate data collection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Data collection is turned off by default.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To activate data collection<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to WP Admin.
    \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. In the left panel, navigate to Ally<\/strong>.
    \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In the right window, click Analytics<\/strong>.
    \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Toggle Track widget data<\/strong> on.
    \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Click Confirm & enable<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Ally will begin tracking how visitors use your accessibility features. Usage data is stored for 45 days. If you turn off usage tracking, Ally will stop tracking data, but previously collected data is stored for 45 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    View your website analytics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    After you begin collecting website statistics, you can view these statistics from your Ally dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To view your website\u2019s analytics<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to WP Admin.

      Use the dropdown menu to determine over what period of time the statistics will be displayed. Choices are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Today<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Yesterday<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Last 7 days<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Last 30 days<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Widget opens<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Widget opens<\/strong> displays the number of times the widget has been used by visitors during the selected date range. The statistics are displayed as a line chart so you can see trends in widget usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Feature Usage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Features usage<\/strong> is a radial bar chart that displays the five most popular Ally features your visitors have used and how often features were used relative to other features, within the selected date range. For instance, this chart displays how often Dark contrast<\/strong> is used relative to Light contrast<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
