Backups help protect your website from accidental changes and malicious attacks. Elementor Host provides a fast, simple way to back up your site. For details about how to back up your site, see, Back up your Elementor Host website<\/a>. For details about restoring your site, see Restore a previous version of your website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[callout type=”note”]Elementor Host websites are automatically backed up, but these automatic backups are deleted after period of time, depending on your hosting plan. Manual backups, as well as the first automatic backup of your site, are never deleted. This way you can always restore your site to its original settings.[\/callout]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access the Backup screen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to your My Elementor<\/a> dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the website card of the site you want to back up.

  3. In the panel, click Backups<\/strong>.
    \"\"
    The backup screen appears.
    \"\"
    You can order the backups by:
    \"\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Type<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Date<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Size<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Change the name of a backup<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      1. Hover over the backup you want to rename.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Click the ellipses \"\" on the right.
        \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Select Rename<\/strong>.
        \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Enter the new name and click Save<\/strong>.
        \"\"
        Your backup is renamed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Delete a backup<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        1. Hover over the backup you want to delete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Click the ellipses \"\" on the right.

        3. Select Delete<\/strong>.
          \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Click Delete<\/strong> to confirm deletion.

          Your backup is deleted.
