For example, you can create an <strong>Author<\/strong>&nbsp; condition that an element will appear only when the <strong>Author<\/strong> is either Alex, Francis or Jaime.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">[callout type=&#8221;best-practice&#8221;]In general, it\u2019s more effective to use display conditions within a template as seen in the examples mentioned below. Otherwise, you will have to apply conditions individually for each instance.[\/callout].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add additional display conditions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may want to add more than one display condition. For example, you may want a post to appear if it is categorized as both <strong>Web Design <\/strong>and <strong>Digital Marketing<\/strong>. When setting up display conditions, you have two choices: AND or OR. If you select AND, Elementor will only show the element if <strong>all <\/strong>conditions are met. For example, all pages that are children of the <strong>About Us<\/strong> page, can display a company logo.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Author<\/strong><\/td><td>Every page in a WordPress website has an author. You can display elements depending on the author. For example, when creating a single page template, you can create a condition that only pages written by Alex or Jake will display their photos.&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conditions for posts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Display or hide elements according to who wrote the post, when it was written or how it\u2019s classified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>In Categories<\/strong><\/td><td>In WordPress sites, posts are generally divided by categories. You can display elements depending upon their categorization. For example, when using this condition in a single post template for all of your posts, you can set that all posts in the category of <strong>France<\/strong>, can display an image of the Eiffel Tower while all posts in the category of <strong>England <\/strong>can display an image of Big Ben.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>In Tags<\/strong><\/td><td>In WordPress sites, posts are often given tags to help visitors understand the subject matter. In a travel site, for instance, all posts tagged as <strong>Summer <\/strong>can have a countdown widget showing how much longer until the start of summer.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Date Modified<\/strong><\/td><td>Display elements according to when they were last changed. You can display elements depending on the author. These will always be connected by an AND logical operator. For example, if you set display conditions as: <strong>Author <\/strong>is Alex Smith, <strong>Current Date <\/strong>is July 3, <strong>Day of the Week<\/strong> is Tuesday, all these conditions must be met in order for the element to display.
