Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Elementor Debugger is a useful tool which helps you understand how a page has been built and more exactly it shows you which template of the builder is assigned to the page you are consulting. Learn more about Elementor\u2019s Theme Builder templates<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enable Elementor Debugger<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To enable Elementor Debugger, follow the below steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Log in to WP Admin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to the Elementor > Tools > General<\/strong>.
    \"Elementor<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select Enable<\/strong> for Debug Bar<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Use Elementor Debugger<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Elementor Debugger is located next to the Edit with Elementor<\/strong> button on the front end and looks like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The example shows an author.php page. The Elementor Debugger<\/strong> shows you the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Items<\/th>Description<\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
    Header<\/td>Header template is called \u201cheader with Nav Menu widget\u201d<\/td><\/tr>
    Footer<\/td>Footer template is called \u201cNew footer with global widget\u201d<\/td><\/tr>
    Template<\/td>Template assigned to the page is called \u201cNew Archive\u201d.<\/td><\/tr>
    Skipped, is not Published<\/td>This means that there is a Header template in \u201cmy templates\u201d which is saved as a draft and which is not assigned to this page.<\/td><\/tr>
    no templates for conditions<\/td>This means that no template was assigned to the content of the specific page\/post.<\/td><\/tr>
    Template File: Location Settings (Override) > Elementor \u2013 header-footer.php<\/td>This means that the Footer and the Header of the theme have been overridden by Elementor.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    When you hover over the button Edit with Elementor<\/strong> on the frontend, it gives you details about the current structure of the page.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
