Adminer<\/a> is a powerful, open-source tool for accessing and making changes to the database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can easily install Adminer on your server if you would like direct access to your WordPress MySQL database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE:<\/em><\/strong> You must install Adminer on your static website server. Remote connections will not work due to security restrictions in place for remote connections.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Install Adminer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Follow these steps to install Adminer on your site:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Download the latest release of the MySQL Version of Adminer from their website<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Rename the downloaded file to adminer.php<\/code>. It will originally look something like adminer-4.7.7-mysql<\/code>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Connect to your site using SFTP. You can read how to do that here<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Upload the adminer.php<\/code> file to the public_html<\/code> folder on your server.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Log in to Adminer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Once installed, you can access Adminer by launching your WordPress site from the  My Elementor Dashboard<\/a> and navigating to https:\/\/example.site.strattic.io<\/code>\/adminer.php.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Logging in to Adminer requires you to get your MySQL Database information for your Elementor static website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Here is how to find your MySQL credentials for your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Log in to your My Elementor Dashboard.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Hover over the website card, and click Manage this website.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      3. <\/strong>Click on the Three Dots<\/strong> in the top right of the screen, and select Show DB details<\/strong>. You can easily copy and paste your credentials or view your password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      NOTE<\/strong>: Each static site in your Elementor account has one set of DB credentials.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. Enter the corresponding information into Adminer and click Login.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      You now have access to browse tables and edit data for the MySQL database powering your WordPress site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
