WordPress sends a <a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/core\/2019\/04\/16\/fatal-error-recovery-mode-in-5-2\/\">recovery link<\/a> to the administrator of the site via email. The link looks like this: \/wp-login.php?action=enter_recovery_mode.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the link in the email to gain access to your site\u2019s WP Admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2 &#8211; Deactivate plugins<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Follow these steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use an FTP program to deactivate your plugins by modifying their names. This will give you access to WP Admin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After you have regained access, use an FTP program to upload&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/elementor.com\/help\/how-to-install-elementor\/\">Elementor<\/a> \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/elementor.com\/help\/installing-elementor-pro\/\">Elementor Pro<\/a> to your WP files. If you do not have access to the server, you may verify this from the stack trace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Third-Party and Addons Fatal Errors<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When the word \u201cElementor\u201d doesn\u2019t appear in the error, or if an Elementor add-on appears in the error. Such errors are not related to Elementor. To confirm, you have to deactivate the addons for Elementor via FTP one by one to figure out which one is causing the issue.[\/callout]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Known fatal errors &amp; their solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th><strong>Error<\/strong><\/th><th><strong>Cause &amp; Solution<\/strong><\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>.PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of \u2026 bytes exhausted<\/td><td>This means that you are running out of memory.<br><br>To solve this issue,&nbsp;<br><br>\u2022 Contact your hosting company to increase your <a href=\"https:\/\/codex.wordpress.org\/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP\">WP memory limit<\/a>.<br>\u2022 Multiple plugins installed on a website can exhaust the memory. Ensure that the memory limit is enough to handle them all.<br>\u2022 Memory exhaustion can arise due to conflicts that can be found in plugins, themes, custom codes, configurations. Check the line of code mentioned in the error message for unwanted spaces and delete them.<br><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>.PHP fatal error: cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in unknown on line 0<\/td><td>This generally happens when you are using&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/elementor.com\/help\/requirements\/\">an old version of PHP<\/a>. In this case, ask your hosting company to update your PHP version to the latest version of PHP.&nbsp;<br><br>If your host gives you access to a Cpanel, you can use the Cpanel to update your PHP file.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>.PHP fatal error: Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required<\/td><td>This error happens when your server could not open a specific file. This error has to be reviewed by your hosting provider.<br><br>To solve this issue, use an FTP program to delete Elementor (or Elementor Pro if the error is linked to Elementor Pro) and install the latest version of Elementor (or Elementor Pro), as the plugin files might be corrupted.<br><br>Get the latest version of Elementor Pro from your <a href=\"https:\/\/my.elementor.com\/websites\/\">My Elementor dashboard<\/a>.
