A product archives template lets you create a standardized way to display groups or categories of products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These product archive templates are site parts<\/a> and can be found by navigating to Templates>Theme Builder<\/strong> from WP Admin and selecting Product Archive<\/strong>. Here you have quick access to add, edit, or delete any product archive template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[callout type=”note”]You must have WooCommerce installed in order to use its features, including products and WooCommerce widgets.[\/callout]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[callout type=”note”]A product archives template is meant to apply a design to the page using dynamic information<\/a> and not by adding content directly to the template.[\/callout]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If no products archive templates have been created yet, you need to create one. Click Add New<\/strong> in the upper right corner of the Products Archive Site Part screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edit An Existing Products Archive’s Design<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. To edit an existing Products <\/em>Archive Template,<\/em> click the Products Archive<\/strong> label in the sidebar. This will open the Products Archive Template’s details dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the Edit <\/strong>link in the upper right corner of the specific Products Archive Template you wish to edit. This will open the Elementor editor for that Products Archive Template.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Edit An Existing Products Archive’s Conditions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Click the Edit Conditions<\/strong> link in the bottom left corner of the Products Archive Template you wish to edit. This will directly open the Display Conditions<\/em> editor for that Products Archive Template.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Note<\/strong>: The Dot Display<\/em> in the upper left corner of the Products Archive indicates which site parts are live (has Display Conditions<\/em> assigned to it), and which are merely drafts (no Display Conditions<\/em> have been assigned). A Green Dot indicates a live <\/em>Products Archive Template, while a Gray Dot indicates a draft <\/em>Products Archive Template. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Note<\/strong>: The Instances <\/em>label in the lower left corner of the Products <\/em>Archive <\/em>displays the specific instances in which this template is being used on the site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Export A Products Archive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. Click the Three Horizontal Dots<\/strong> in the upper right of the Products Archive Template you wish to export. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Choose Export <\/strong>to open a Save dialog which will save a .json file to your computer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Delete A Products Archive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        1. Click the Three Horizontal Dots<\/strong> in the upper right of the Products Archive Template you wish to delete. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Choose Delete<\/strong> which will open a Delete Part<\/em> confirmation dialog box. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Click Cancel <\/strong>if you change your mind and decide you don’t want to delete the Products Archive Template, or click Delete <\/strong>to confirm that you do wish to delete this Products Archive Template.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Rename A Products Archive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          1. Click the Three Horizontal Dots<\/strong> in the upper right of the Products Archive Template you wish to rename. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Choose Rename <\/strong>which will open a Rename Part<\/em> dialog box. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Enter the new name and click Change <\/strong>to complete the rename process, or click Cancel <\/strong>if you change your mind and decide you don’t want to rename this Products Archive Template.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
