For instance, a form may let users select either a Blue shirt, Red shirt or Yellow shirt. However when the user actually chooses the color of shirt they want, its SKU code is sent to the warehouse for processing. In this case, blue, red and yellow shirts are the label and the SKU code is the value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>Select<\/strong>, <strong>Radio button <\/strong>and <strong>Checkbox <\/strong>fields, you can use the pipe character to separate between labels and values. On most keyboards the pipe character is on the same key as the backslash.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add the label and value<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To add a custom label and value to a field<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create a form with either a <strong>Select<\/strong>, <strong>Radio button<\/strong> or <strong>Checkbox <\/strong>field.<br><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"280\" height=\"524\" class=\"wp-image-48993\" style=\"width: 280px;\" src=\"https:\/\/elementor.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-16.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/elementor.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-16.png 382w, https:\/\/elementor.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-16-160x300.png 160w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 280px) 100vw, 280px\" \/><br>In this example we created a <strong>Select <\/strong>field with the label <strong>I want a. <\/strong>This field will let visitors select either a Blue Shirt, Red Shirt or Yellow shirt.
