What are revisions?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you edit a post (posts, pages and custom post types) on your site, WordPress automatically saves the previous post as a revision. If you want to go back to an older copy of your post, you can simply revert to any of the saved revisions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Compare post versions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To compare different versions of a post, follow these steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Login to WP Admin.

  2. Click Posts<\/strong>.

  3. Open the post that you want to revert to a previous revision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      To restore a previous version, follow these steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. Open the post that you want to revert to a previous revision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

        Compare revisions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        By default, you can see, and compare, the current version with the previous version of the post. However, you can also compare versions of the post that were published several revisions apart.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
