This is most likely due to a change in the domain URL of your site (including HTTPS\/SSL migration). Please deactivate the license and then reactivate it again.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Possible cause<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This error can occur under the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><p>Your site and WordPress domains (URL) do not match. This usually occurs after changes to your domain or SSL.&nbsp;<\/p><\/li><li><p>This can also be caused by the caching issue on the website, try clearing the cache from the cache plugin available on the site(For Elementor host user, try clearing advanced cache)<\/p><\/li><li><p>When the domain listed in your <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" class=\"text-primary underline underline-offset-2 hover:opacity-90\" href=\"https:\/\/my.elementor.com\/websites\/\">My Elementor account<\/a> does not match the domain you are trying to activate Elementor Pro from.&nbsp;<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Example<\/strong>: In your My Elementor account dashboard, your Elementor Pro plugin is activated for the site <em>mysite.com<\/em>. You try to activate your Elementor Pro plugin from the dashboard of <em>my-site.com<\/em>. In this case, you will receive a license mismatch error.<\/p>\n\n\n[callout type=&#8221;note&#8221;]For Elementor Host users: If you\u2019re using a version of Elementor and\/or Elementor Pro older than 3.9, upgrading both plugins to the current version should resolve any license mismatch errors.[\/callout]\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In most cases, deactivating and reactivating your license solves the issue. Follow the below procedures stepwise to resolve the issue:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verify WordPress URL and Site URL.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><p>Login to WP Admin.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Go to <strong>Settings &gt; General<\/strong>.<br><\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/elementor.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/License-mismatch-error-2.png\" alt=\"License mismatch error 2\" data-alt=\"License mismatch error 2\" width=\"161\" height=\"71\" class=\"wp-image-45680\" style=\"width: 340px;\"><\/figure><\/li><li><p>Make sure the <strong>WordPress Address (URL)<\/strong> matches the <strong>Site Address (URL)<\/strong> exactly.
