Why use Elementor with ACF<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) brings limitless possibilities for adding extra data to WordPress content by creating custom fields. Elementor allows you to dynamically insert the ACF custom field data directly into your Elementor designs with all the styling options you’ve come to expect from Elementor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong>: Elementor officially supports ACF 5 and up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How To Add ACF To a Single Post Template<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Go to WP Admin and navigate to Templates>Add New<\/strong>.
    \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Single Post<\/strong> from the dropdown menu.
    \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Name the template and click Create template<\/strong>.
    \"\"
    You can design your single post template.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. In the top bar, click the Page Settings icon.
    \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. In the panel, open the Preview Settings<\/strong> section.
    \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Under Preview Dynamic<\/em> Content select the post type you wish to preview. In this case we’ll choose Post<\/strong>.
    \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Select a widget that makes use of dynamic content. In this case, we’ll select the Post Title widget.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. In the panel, click on the Dynamic<\/strong> icon \"\"
    \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Choose ACF Field<\/strong> from the dropdown menu.

  10. Once selected, click again on ACF Field<\/strong>.
    \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. In Settings>Key<\/strong>, select the custom field you want to display.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  12. The options in the Advanced <\/em>tab are optional. Options include:
    Before<\/strong>: Text to automatically appear before the custom field data
    Fallback<\/strong>: Text to display if custom field has no data
    After<\/strong>: Text to automatically appear after the custom field data<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  13. Style the custom field widget as you would normally, using the widget\u2019s Style<\/em> tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
