If you missed it, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/160OWqWnm1NidJOVb1clT_YxVC7i6B-U6\" target=\"_blank\">here is the full recording<\/a> &gt;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first part of our Meetup Leaders meeting, we discussed the importance of growing a leadership team.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Build a Leadership Team?&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Identifying active members &#8211; people that are sharing from their experience, eager to help others.<\/li><li>Make the community involved &#8211; in decision making, choosing speakers, topics, etc.<\/li><li>Create opportunities for members to be active &#8211; present projects, help sessions, share knowledge.<\/li><li>Ask people to volunteer for specific tasks &#8211; help with meetup operations, admit members online, monitor the chat, reply to questions, etc.<\/li><li>Just ask the community.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Choose the Right Team Members?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Define the qualities that you are looking for in a community leader &#8211; a good place to start is our Code of Conduct<\/li><li>You have the things you rock on! But, what are you missing? Which abilities or knowledge can another leader contribute?<\/li><li>Set expectations &amp; be clear about them &#8211; What do you expect them to do?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Type of Roles are there?&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Would you like to have an official co-organizer or an assistant organizer?
