For some, it\u2019s a lack of time or even diminished enthusiasm &#8211; and that\u2019s OK!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are thinking about stepping down and leaving the program, we want to make sure these steps take place:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Personal 1-on-1 talk with your community lead &#8211; we want to learn more about your experience as a leader and assure you our door is always open.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Leadership team talk &#8211; they rather hear it from you and say a proper goodbye.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Reach out to your community members to find a suitable replacement. As an active leader, you know the community members best; reach out in person or in public to see who would like to replace you as an official leader, and <a href=\"https:\/\/elementor.com\/community\/become-a-leader\/\">ask them to apply<\/a>.<\/li><li>Publicly announce your departure to your fellow leaders and community members. They will appreciate it.&nbsp;<\/li><li>We want to thank you, and we want to do it publicly. We will comment or post in your group, following your public message.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On a more technical side:&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We will remove your profile from the leaders\u2019 page.<\/li><li>We will remove you from our daily communications channels: Slack, emails, and so forth, as well as remove resource permissions.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>We will remove you from your role as Facebook Moderator or Meetup Organizer.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As all leaders are passionate volunteers, we understand that, from time to time, you will not be able to meet the program requirements.
