Use this fantastic widget to display multiple videos for your courses, collections, and more.<\/p><p>This tutorial will cover:<\/p><p>\u2714 How to configure and style the Video Playlist Widget<\/p><p>\u2714 Adding videos from YouTube or self hosted<\/p><p>\u2714 Separating your videos using sections<\/p><p>\u2714 Adding tabbed content to your videos<\/p><p>\u2714\ufe0e And much more!<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-5452\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Transcript<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-5452\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-5452\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hey there, it&#8217;s Ash from Elementor.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In this tutorial I will teach you how to use the Video Playlist Widget.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Using the Video Playlist allows you to display a collection of video content on your website which will keep users engaged for longer.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Use this fantastic widget to display multiple videos for your courses, collections &amp; more.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So if you\u2019re ready, let\u2019s dive in and get started.<\/span><\/p><p>Today we\u2019ll be working on this musician\u2019s website where we have a video playlist showcasing multiple YouTube videos.<\/p><p>Let\u2019s go ahead and remove this widget then we\u2019ll search for\u2026<\/p><p>&#8230;and drop in the \u2018Video Playlist Widget\u2019.<\/p><p>As you can see the widget has been populated with some sample content to give you an idea of what we can achieve.<br \/>First of all let\u2019s give our playlist a name.<\/p><p>Now, click to expand the first sample video.<\/p><p>Under \u2018Type\u2019 you can see that we are able to choose from a YouTube or Self Hosted video. There\u2019s also a third option called \u2018Section\u2019 which we\u2019ll explore soon.<\/p><p>We\u2019ll leave this on YouTube.<\/p><p>In the link field we\u2019ll paste our YouTube URL of the first video we would like to display. We can also populate this field using dynamic content, and this is true anywhere that you see this icon.<\/p><p>Clicking the \u2018Get Video Data\u2019 button will retrieve the title, duration and thumbnail from the source. As you can see these fields have all been automatically updated.<\/p><p>Now that\u2019s pretty awesome!<\/p><p>You can of course amend any of these options if you so wish.<br \/>We\u2019ll explore the \u2018Contents Tabs\u2019 shortly, but for now let\u2019s jump forward and create the rest of our videos for our playlist.<br \/>Great!<\/p><p>Now all of our videos are ready to be properly configured &amp; styled.<\/p><p>The last two videos belong to a different category, so ideally we would like to give them a separate title.<\/p><p>Go ahead and duplicate the third video.<\/p><p>In type select section.<\/p><p>As you can see, the options now update and we are able to enter a title.<\/p><p>We\u2019ll add \u2018Classical Covers\u2019 in ours.<br \/>Let\u2019s now explore the \u2018Contents Tabs\u2019 option.<\/p><p>This is extremely useful if you need to provide more information about your videos.<\/p><p>As you can see, enabling this option opens up two different tabs where you can add text, images and dynamic content.<\/p><p>Let\u2019s add in some content to the first tab and then we\u2019ll explore some additional customisation options.<\/p><p>Now open up the \u2018Tabs\u2019 section.<\/p><p>We can first of all give each tab a name like so\u2026<\/p><p>If you\u2019re only using one tab like us, simply leave the second field empty.<\/p><p>We can also state whether or not we would like the tabs area to be collapsible, which is useful if you\u2019ve added a lot of content. You can amend the label text as well as the height.<br \/>In the \u2018Image Overlay\u2019 area we can toggle on an image which will display on top of the videos. Useful if you would like to display just one image, and could also help with your loading times.<\/p><p>We can also amend the play icon if required by switching it off entirely or by using a custom SVG or an icon from the library.<br \/>Under additional options we can amend the layout to display on the right or left.<\/p><p>Enabling autoplay on load will ensure the video starts once the page has loaded, and next up will play the videos in succession.<\/p><p>Next we can toggle on or off a watched icon\u2026<br \/>video count\u2026<br \/>duration&#8230; <br \/>&amp; thumbnail.<\/p><p>We can also amend the play &amp; watched icons\u2026<\/p><p>And finally we can enable \u2018lazy load\u2019 which can help with page loading times.<br \/>Great! Now that we\u2019ve finished setting up our playlist let\u2019s style it to match the design and feel of our website.<\/p><p>Switching over to the style tab we are able to set the height using pixels or via a relative value using viewport height or width.<\/p><p>We\u2019ll set ours to 400px.<\/p><p>We can also amend this value for table and mobile devices as well.<\/p><p>Now open the \u2018Top Bar Tab\u2019 section.<\/p><p>Set your colors for the top bar by using global colors or via a manual selection.<\/p><p>And then do the same for your typography.<\/p><p>We switched off the video count option earlier so will leave the video amount values alone, but feel free to customise these if you have this option enabled.<br \/>Now let\u2019s style the video section.<\/p><p>Again, all of these aspects can be styled using your global configurations or via manual selection.<\/p><p>Set your colors\u2026<\/p><p>Your typography\u2026<\/p><p>Icon color\u2026<\/p><p>And icon shadow<\/p><p>We can also amend the icon size\u2026<\/p><p>And add a separator if required\u2026<\/p><p>Switch over to the \u2018Active\u2019 tab now and set your styles for the tab which is currently displaying the video.<br \/>Under \u2018Sections\u2019 we\u2019ll leave the background color off\u2026<\/p><p>And then set the font color\u2026<\/p><p>And typography\u2026<\/p><p>We\u2019ll leave the border type as solid, but unlink the values and set 2px on the bottom to create an underline effect.<br \/>Finally, let\u2019s style the tabs.<\/p><p>Ensure you have a video selected which uses the tab option so you can preview your changes as you make them.<\/p><p>Border width we\u2019ll set to 2\u2026<\/p><p>And then we\u2019ll set our border and background styles&#8230;<\/p><p>Next, we\u2019ll set the colors and typography for the title\u2026<\/p><p>And then the same for the content\u2026<\/p><p>Let\u2019s amend the padding to finish this off\u2026<\/p><p>OK, that looks great!<\/p><p>And if you enabled the \u2018show more\u2019 option you can also amend the style at the bottom here.<br \/>And there we have it.<\/p><p>We\u2019ve created a fantastic looking video playlist widget for our website to showcase a selection of videos for our users.<\/p><p>Thank you for watching.<\/p><p>Please comment below with any questions, and don\u2019t forget to like and subscribe<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overview Transcript Overview In this tutorial we will teach you how to use the Video Playlist Widget.
